Victoria Gardens: Deb Gray on The Garden Show

Deb Gray from Victoria Gardens joins Sally Spillane on The Garden Show on WKZE. You can listen to the podcast here.

Deb's tips?

Water, water, water!

It is especially important to water new plantings.

Prune Hydrangea Paniculata in late winter before they leaf out, while you can still see the structure.

Plant a hedge of a repeat blooming - Boomerang Lilacs or Knockout roses.

Watch out for ticks.

And water, water, water!

"A garden should be a place where you can go and leave everything else behind."

Grows 3 to 4 ft. tall and wide.
Grow in full sun to partial shade.

Amazing, fragrant, soft pink flowers are blooming now. You really want to plant this shrub near a door or a window so the fragrance drifts into your home. Variegated foliage adds interest the rest of the season.
